One of the larger cities of Andalucia, on the Costa del Sol ["Sunny Coast"]
8-10 Feb: Granada
This is where I get to see the Alhambra - palace of the old Muslim kings [a long long time ago!] Southern Spain is full of Muslim/Arabic architecture and remains like this =)
10 Feb: Cordoba
Another city with a strong Muslim influence - this time the place to visit is the Mequita [mosque].
11 Feb: Toledo
Toledo was once the capital of Spain, apparently its quite an attractive city. My youth hostel here is in a real castle [Castillo de San Servando], up on a hill with a view over the city - fun!!!
12-14 Feb: Madrid
Back to Madrid - this visit might include a day trip to El Escorial - the old Royal Palace built by Kink Felipe II in the 16th century
14-18 Feb: Barcelona
Excited to see Barcelona. Probably Spain's most modern city with a very strong European influence due to its location on the Mediterranean coast. Keen to see some of Barcelona's famous architecture - Gaudi etc. Last stop in Spain before I head to France
18-20 Feb: Lyon
Good food and more Roman stuff [I think]. It's reason enough to stop here haha. Nice looking hostel up top of a hill so sweet views =)
20-23 Feb: Paris
Don't think I really need to say anything much, except that I'm excited. Be jealous
